High performance: designed;
your ambition:
delivered

Every organisation is different – with different goals and different levels of support required to achieve them.

We’ll work with you to identify the types and levels of support required to deliver meaningful, sustainable performance improvement in your unique context. Any combination of activities will be supported by formal or informal training to develop the skills required to lead in complexity and change.
Advisory
Sometimes all you need is a little steer. Advisory services are typically best paired with a bit of assessment or research to make sure we’re pointing you in the right direction.
Coaching
Coaching allows us to focus on guiding and developing people as individuals; this is also best when paired with assessment of skills, preferences and goals.
Supervision
Supervision is a good choice for those who need to meet peer supervision requirements or would just like a partner with an Organisational Behaviour Management perspective to reflect on their work, troubleshoot complex cases, and discuss best practice.
Training
Training can be generic or bespoke. We would recommend doing a brief assessment if training should be more targeted.
Discovery Workshops
Discovery workshops are a great way to do some high-level, informal assessment of people and process in your organisation. This is a good idea if you’ve got a vague idea of what you want to achieve but aren’t sure what step to take next. Workshops create opportunities for scoping, generic training and for assessing individual skills and team dynamics.
Assessment
All good work starts with good assessment. For most assessments, we’ll spend a couple of days getting to know your people and your systems. We may use a combination of surveys, interviews and observations to make sure we understand your organisation and what you’re trying to achieve.
Research
We can conduct research to discover new insights or to help you solve really complex problems. This is a deeper and more systematic inquiry than assessment alone. Research can be formal enough to publish or just a bit of informal, scientific fact finding.
Small to Medium-sized Projects
Working together on a defined project allows the Lux team to provide you with extra support for a particular effort. Small projects may be quick and light-touch while medium-sized projects may be more substantial, connecting multiple workstreams and requiring deeper collaboration with your team. All project support will inevitably come with bonus skill development and problem solving – we can’t help ourselves.
Facilitated end-to-end transformation
If you need a revolution (or just an evolution!) we can be with you every step of the way, from assessment, through solution design, implementation and change management, all the way to improved outcomes.
Lux Academy
Lux Academy serves as the capability-building division of Lux Consulting. Our academy specialises in supporting your key change agents to tackle small but important change projects themselves. As they go, they’ll earn various competence awards as they build transformation leadership skills and learn to use our science-backed performance improvement methods independently.

The values that
drive us

We believe people should experience joy and growth at work, and processes should make high performance and achievement inevitable.
Science
We are proper, board-certified practitioners of behavioural science – and we love studying, teaching, and applying our science. Our love of research, data and practical insights motivate us to deliver results you can feel – but also measure. We can help you to understand why people do what they do, supporting you to make decisions grounded in evidence that will have real impact.
Individuality
We are big fans of humans - every last one of you - even that one colleague. We believe all humans are uniquely fascinating, equally valuable, and deserving of joy and success in their work environment. Understanding people as individuals helps leaders to put people in the right place and motivate them effectively – and that is a big part of the recipe for organisational success.
Curiosity
We celebrate and prefer to work with those brave enough to be curious – those who boldly wonder, ‘what if’, ‘why do we do it that way?’ or ‘how could this be even better?’. No problem is too complex to tackle, no practice too prehistoric to challenge.
Partnership
It is important to us that our work is based on honest advice and trusted relationships, and that everything we do reflects our shared ambition and mutual commitment to achieving meaningful results together. That means systems are analysed and understood together and solutions are co-created and co-delivered. Part of what makes us different is our planned obsolescence. When possible, we aim to upskill key change-makers within your organisation to make sure that next time, you may be able to do this independently.
Joy in Systems
We know it sounds a little fluffy, but as scientists, we know that where there is joy (‘reinforcement’ to be technical about it), there can be growth – individual performance will improve and organisational success will follow; and joy can and should be engineered intentionally into your organisational systems.

Do you have a complex problem for us?
We love a challenge.

Need a bit more joy at work? Just a quick question?
We'd love to hear from you.
